Chris Warner has penned a number of books with a distinctly Southern flair. Sadly, most of us are so consumed with the rat race of life that we don’t spend as much time reading as we did as kids. Most only find time to read when they are on vacation. Whether you are planning a beach trip, or just want to pretend you are on one for a weekend, Chris Warner has likely written a book you would be interested in reading.
A native of New Iberia, Louisiana (1970), Chris Warner is a double graduate of LSU in Baton Rouge and of the University of New Orleans, where he earned a doctorate in 2002. He is the author of over twenty titles, including “A Tailgater’s Guide to SEC Football Volume IV,” which landed him on the History Channel documentary, “Tailgating” with Tom Arnold in 2004. He is the co-author of “The Wagon to Disaster” with Aaron Beam, former HealthSouth CFO. The title was featured on CNBC’s American Greed in 2009. He is also the author of “Bushwhacked at the Flora-Bama” with Joe Gilchrist, and a related novel, “Saved at the Alabama-Florida Line.” He lives with his family in L.A. (Lower Alabama). Chris is also a noted speaker, offering the favored keynote address, “The History of College Football in the South, the History of the SEC and the History of Tailgating” to various SEC alumni groups, Rotary, Kiwanis and football fan clubs.
